Exhibitor Director Stefanie Mändlein
To kickstart the celebration, an exclusive INHORGENTA 2024 Preview was held on June 27, 2023, at Olympiapark München, attracting around 80 participants, including media, exhibitors, jewellers and partners. This preview event marked the perfect opportunity to introduce several highlights for the upcoming 50th anniversary of Europe’s leading platform for jewelry, watches, and gemstones. Exhibitors, jewellers, partners, and media representatives gathered at the Olympiapark, a venue that reflects the founding spirit of INHORGENTA.
Against a backdrop of a lively atmosphere, Stefanie Mändlein, the Exhibition Director, explained the profound meaning of this year’s strong comeback and the 50th anniversary as the ideal moment for a new spirit and an elevated presence throughout all halls of the event. The goal is to convey the industry’s unique design standards and the emotional appeal of its products to the entire INHORGENTA audience.
INHORGENTA continues to expand, attracting esteemed brands that recognize its growing importance. Gerhard Novak, General Manager of Porsche Design Timepieces, highlighted the ambition, international audience, personalized service, and premium atmosphere of INHORGENTA as key factors that convinced them to join. Mändlein expressed her delight at this exciting addition and hinted at more brands to follow suit.
The 50th anniversary will be the pinnacle of INHORGENTA 2024. All participants, including exhibitors from the event’s inception, will come together for a memorable celebration. Two exhibitions will showcase jewelry spanning 5,000 years of history alongside contemporary pieces. An exclusive gala will recreate the ambience of the early 1970s. The prestigious INHORGENTA AWARD will be presented at the event’s new location, featuring refined categories. Attendees can also expect new show elements, such as an Experience Hub in the Watch Hall, captivating installations, eye-catching showpieces, Instagram-worthy moments, and improved food and beverage areas.
The preview event offered a glimpse into the fresh look and feel of INHORGENTA. Guests were treated to stunning jewelry and watch presentations complemented by fashionable designs from Brachmann. Trend analyst Nils Holger Wien delivered an insightful keynote titled “AI Catwalk Analysis – The Future Is Silver,” emphasizing the increasing significance of jewelry in the fashion industry as colours and silhouettes become more subdued, turning jewelry pieces into statement accessories.
