CONCEPT – The new limited-edition motorcycle represents the result of the extraordinary collaboration between Aston Martin and Brough Superior, hand manufactured with passion and authenticity at the Brough Superior factory in France by the most competent engineers, motorists and skilled artisans. AMB 001 PRO is the latest design collaboration between these two prestigious British brands, masters in the art of creating dream machines, marvels of design and performance.

The hyper sports bike pushes the limits of perfection even further thanks to Aston Martin’s vision in design and the distinctiveness technology of Brough Superior in production. Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer: “It’s a beautifully simple formula. Form plus technology equals performance. There is no separation between the bike’s advanced materials, design and technical capabilities. When you push something to the very edge of capacity and do it seamlessly, the resulting experience can have you breathless. We’ve achieved this fluidity again with Brough Superior for those who desire a track superbike like none other. The rider is part of this moving sculpture and will feel like they are part of the track when laying atop the AMB 001 Pro.”

INSPIRATION – The new limited-edition motorcycle faces the challenge of introducing Aston Martin’s vision of hypercars in the two-wheel World. Indeed its DNA is the incredible Valkyrie AMR Pro, as pointed out by the highly respected motorcycle designer and CEO of Brough Superior, Thierry Henriette: “We are excited to reveal the AMB 001 Pro at EICMA today. The success of its predecessor, coupled with the incredible Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, inspired us to get together again to create a new superbike that we know will excite our customers. “

DESIGN AND AERODYNAMIC – In terms of design, the elegance, beauty and power of the predecessor original AMB 001, are preserved but adding more technology and extreme aerodynamic elements made of ultra-thin aluminium. Downforce is increased via the front spoiler and side wings, with the front cowl fixed to the bodywork to manage the downforce at the motorcycle’s front end. A tunnel effect air blade directs air over the rider. The airflow enters through a large intake integrated into the front wing, then passes through the new front cowl to be deflected through the dynamic windshield. A rear fin with an aero stabilizer design further refines the aerodynamic updates. Inevitable is the characteristic colour of the brand, which is based on the Aston Martin Verdant Jade colour with an alternation of elements in Photon Lime and carbon fibre with satin sight.

INNOVATION – Power and disproportionate numbers are the basis of the characteristics of the AMB 001 PRO leading to the new level of hyper-bikes. As emphasized by the motorcycle designer of Brough Superior: “With the marked increase in power, this takes AMB 001 Pro into the hyperbike sector”. One of this motorbike’s highlights is the incredible engine, defined as the cherry on the cake.

The new engine type, with a crankcase fully machined from solid billet aluminium, is a distinctive feature for a production motorcycle. The power increase comes courtesy of a new CNC-machine, dual-cylinder 997cc engine, which has been fully machined from AL 5000 solid billet. The engine is a 997cc water-cooled DOHC 88˚ V-twin four-stroke with four valves per cylinder and is able to release 225 Hp of power (25% power increase).
